The Biodiversity Plan

On 22 May, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), through its Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB) celebrated the International Day for Biodiversity 2024 at the Mind Museum, in an event co-organised with partner organisations United Nations Development Programme – UNDP, USAID – US Agency for International Development through the SIBOL Project, and the ACB.

The event featured a Biodiversity Talk show where ACB’s Strategy and Planning Director Carlo Carlos highlighted the importance of the ASEAN Biodiversity Plan in streamlining regional efforts to help achieve global biodiversity goals and targets.

This IDB 2024 celebration is a call for all sectors and segments to join hands in addressing biodiversity loss and #BePartofthePlaN.
